| What the hell is wrong with Houston sports teams??
First, the Texans passed on Reggie Bush. Now, the Rockets pick up Rudy Gay in the NBA Draft, who is actually pretty good. Then 5 minutes later, they decide to trade him AND Stromile Swift for Shane Battier. Why?

But Gay is only 19, and Rockets general manager Carroll Dawson said his youth was a liability in the Rockets' eyes.
"There's a learning curve in this business," Dawson said. "He's going
to be a very good player, but it's going to take a little bit of time."

What the hell? Are we going to just draft rookies from now on and trade them away for older players, since we don't want to deal with the "learning curve"? Do they not remember how our "veteran" team did last season? Fucking retarded.
Definitely now the weakest of the Texas basketball teams.
